About This Patient
This patient previously underwent a left free TRAM flap but unfortunately had a failure of her right free TRAM flap breast reconstruction (done by another provider). The patient felt strongly about having her right breast reconstructed with her own tissue and did not want to use an implant. The right side was reconstructed using a Thoracodorsal Artery Perforator (TDAP) flap. Fat grafting was used at 2 subsequent procedures to add volume to the right TDAP breast reconstruction and produce a symmetric overall result.
