About This Patient
This 43-year old woman previously underwent bilateral mastectomies and multiple failed attempts at tissue expander/implant reconstruction with another provider. She had severe scarring of the left chest wall secondary to infection and removal of the left tissue expander but was able to have a successful reconstruction using her own tissue in the form of bilateral DIEP flaps.
